Please join us for an evening of fun, food and of course, fellowship!

Paul Percy Harris was a Chicago attorney best known for founding Rotary International in 1905.    In 1957 the Paul Harris Fellows program was established to show appreciation for and encourage substantial contributions to what was then the Rotary Foundation.  In 1979 RI President James Bomar challenged each Rotary club to make one non-Rotarian a Paul Harris Fellow. We have been doing it here at our club since 2008.

When $1000USD is contributed to the Rotary Foundation a request can be made for an individual to be recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow, that person can be a Rotarian or a member of the community who is not a Rotarian.

Any member of the Rotary Club, in good standing, may nominate someone for this deserving award.  Nominees should exemplify the qualities and ideals of the Rotary Motto "Service Above Self".  Proposed nominations will be screened by the Immediate Past President to ensure they meet eligibility criteria and then will be evaluated by a Past President Advisory committee.  Nominations should be submitted by the 15th of October for presentation at a special evening event to be held on November 12th.

Please find the nomination form attached.

*This event will take place in lieu of our regular Monday luncheon meeting*
