International Committee Co-Chair, Dr. Ruth Mathieson, is very pleased to advise that a recent donation by the Rotary Club of Belleville has paid big dividends for the Karanda Mission Hospital in Zimbabwe.  Dr. Ruth was involved in sourcing these heart monitors from Avenue Pacific Health in San Clemente California, for Ray Richardson, Rotary Club of Shelburne.  A very worthwhile project.

Dear Rotarians and friends of Dr Thistle

SUCCESS - Just a short note to advise everyone that our project to support a request from Dr Thistle following our Zoom meeting with him in April has been successfully completed with the monitors in place for use as per attached picture from last week. It was completely  funded with donations from many Rotary Clubs and others outside of Rotary. Product was inspected and packed by Christine and Simon Kariuki of our club (Thank you both) and delivery was by a friend of Dr Paul's who volunteered to take them with some other goods. So despite many interesting challenges and the hiccups the Pandemic provided, we were successful and are again making a difference where it is needed.

Thank you to all Rotary Clubs for their support and assistance in this project and special thank you to all who donated.   Rotary makes it happen.

Ray Richardson
