Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign in Celebration of Earth Day

Rotary International President Ian Risley wanted to have a tree planted for every Rotarian worldwide 1.2 million.  Our District Governor Neil Phillips challenged our District to have a tree planted for each attendee at the International Convention which is approximately 35,000 trees.  Sunday, April 22nd is a District Tree Planting Day at Sunnybrook Health and Sciences Centre from 10am to 1pm.  Mark Cullen spoke at the District 7070 Conference about the Highway of Heros Tree Campaign.  If you want to have a look at the project before the meeting the website is https://hohtribute.ca
