Volunteers need to have Smart Serve. We need to ensure we would have enough volunteers in order to commit. Our Club receives a contribution of a percentage of sales. Some modifications are being made to the set-up and schedule.  Further information and decision at next meeting.
  • Collin read a message from Hockey Night in Quinte leader, Cassandra Bonn. Many individuals were thanked for their time and effort. General excerpts…..“A huge thank you to everybody who helped out with Hockey Night in Quinte. It was another successful fundraiser – raising over $21,000.  A very special thanks to the entire committee and the Satellite Club for all your hard work and support for this successful event. It was a lot of work but I think a very successful event on so many levels.”  Committee members are asked to provide a summary of their role.  Members shared some feedback on the event and things to consider for next year.
  • Sarah Dean provided a financial report. Revenue was nearly $25,000. Some of the revenue items are $4,360 in event ticket sales, $ 11,275 in sponsorship, $ 5,806 for silent auction, $1,144 for games, $770 from 50/50 and $ 1, 182 from bar sales. Expenses were approximately $ 3,300. Net proceeds are a little over $21,000. Great job!
  • President Andrew Bandler was not able to attend the event but thanked everyone for their great work.
  • Collin says the Board is seeking ideas for an informal fellowship event for the Monday lunch and Thursday evening groups.
  • An upcoming meeting date list was circulated and members are asked to sign up to take turns to lead our meetings.
